How to Turn Off Automatic Standby (Models 330, 350, 440, 450, 570, 670 & 770)
Your ZVOX speaker has an Automatic Standby feature that turns it off after about 20 minutes of no audio or a very low audio signal from your TV. Some TVs send a weak signal or have their audio output set too low, which can cause the speaker to turn off in the middle of a program even when it seems to be working fine. If this is happening, you can disable Automatic Standby by following the steps below.
- At the same time, press and hold both the Power/Mute button and the Volume + button on the front of the speaker (not the remote).
- After 4 to 5 seconds, “PS-0” will start flashing on the display. Release both buttons.
- Slowly press and release the Volume + button on the front of the speaker until the display reads “PS-11”.
- “PS-11” will flash for a few seconds, then “noAS” (No Auto Standby) will flash 3 times before the display turns off. Automatic Standby is now disabled.
Note: With Automatic Standby off, the speaker will no longer turn off on its own. You’ll need to use your ZVOX remote, or a remote programmed to control your speaker, to turn it off.
To turn Automatic Standby back on, simply repeat these steps, but stop at “PS-10” instead of “PS-11.”
