ZVOX 4 Step Learning Process for Remote Controls
This learning process works for many ZVOX speakers and teaches them commands from a third-party remote control (e.g. a remote control from a cable/satellite provider or television manufacturer) to control the power off/on, volume up/down and mute functions of your ZVOX speaker.
ZVOX speakers that do not have an HDMI input are designed to work with IR (Infrared) technology-based remote controls. Remote controls that are described as “smart” remote controls and offer features like voice command technology are RF (Radio Frequency) technology-based devices and need to be switched into IR mode. Questions about this process should be directed to the manufacturer of the remote control.
