How to Clear Learned Remotes (SoundBase 220, 320, 420, 555 & 580)

Your ZVOX speaker can learn commands from other remotes, like your TV remote. If the speaker is responding to the wrong remote, or you’re switching to a new one, you can clear any learned remotes by following the steps below.

  1. Press and hold the MUTE and Volume + buttons on the front of the speaker for about 5 seconds, until “PS-0” flashes on the display.
  2. Immediately release both buttons, then press Volume + to change the setting to “PS-1”.
  3. Stop pressing buttons and wait for the menu to time out and the display to turn off.
  4. Repeat step 1 to open the menu again.
  5. This time, press Volume - to go back to “PS-0”, then let the menu time out again.


Any learned remotes are now cleared from the speaker.
