HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) is a feature that allows audio to be sent from a TV to a soundbar. Besides audio, ARC also allows the TV to control the functions of the soundbar using the TV's remote. This feature is called HDMI CEC. An ARC compatible soundbar will only work if it is plugged into the HDMI jack on the TV that is labeled ARC or eARC.
ARC is turned on by default on most modern TVs, but if you find that ARC isn't working with your ARC compatible Zvox you may have to enable ARC on your TV. The table below shows the location of the ARC settings on most TV brands.
