To be compatible with wireless headphones, your TV needs one or more of these features:
Built-in Bluetooth - Most modern smart TVs (2018 and newer) have Bluetooth built-in, allowing you to pair wireless headphones directly. You can usually find this in your TV's Settings under "Sound," "Audio," or "Bluetooth" menus.
Audio output ports - For older TVs without built-in Bluetooth, you can purchase a Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into available audio outputs such as the 3.5mm headphone jack, RCA audio outputs (red/white ports), or optical/TOSLINK digital audio output. This makes virtually any TV compatible with wireless headphones.
Digital media players - Some streaming devices like Roku players, Fire TV Sticks, Chromecasts, and Apple TV may have Bluetooth built-in that will allow you to stream audio to headphones.
