Dish Network 40.0, 50.0, 52.0, and 54.0 Remote Setup


These instructions will pair your Dish Network 40.0, 50.0, 52.0, or 54.0 remote with your ZVOX using the Dish Audio Accessory Pairing Wizard, so the remote’s volume and mute buttons control your ZVOX. These steps may also work with other Dish Network remotes, so they’re worth a try even if your remote isn’t listed. Setup takes two parts: pairing the remote with your ZVOX, then setting the volume and mute buttons to control it.


Part 1: Pair the Remote With Your ZVOX

  1. Make sure your ZVOX is turned on.
  2. Press Home twice on the Dish remote (or Menu, depending on your remote).
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Remote Control.
  5. Select Auxiliary Device.
  6. Select Audio Accessory.
  7. Select Audio Accessory Pairing Wizard.
  8. Choose ZVOX as the brand.
  9. The wizard will program in a code. Test it with the volume buttons, and select Finished once you have one that works.


Part 2: Set the Volume and Mute Buttons to Control the ZVOX

  1. Once you’re back on the Remote Control settings page, go to Volume & Mute Buttons under Customizations.
  2. Set it to control the Audio Accessory.

Your Dish remote’s volume and mute buttons will now control your ZVOX.

Note: You can also press the AUX button on the side of the remote to control the ZVOX.
