The AV series ZVOX has an audio output you can connect headphone for private hearing or for simultaneous use with the AV speaker. To use the private headphone mode you must press and hold Mute on the remote for 5 seconds until HP stays displayed. To reverse the process press and hold the same Mute button until HP disappears. When you turn this on the speakers will cut out and you will only hear from the headphones.
The applies to all Accuvoice TV speakers that have a Headphone output (AV200, AV201, AV205, AV203, AV155, AV157, AV257, AV355, and the AV357.)
